A travel in space and time
The cave was presented in the exhibition in an abstract and experiential manner, together with the presentation of the finds. The objects were pots, oil lamps, iron minor objects like fibulae, ladles, bracelets, knife handles, a spear-head, but also three bronze oinochoai and a processional cross. The exhibition also presented the coins found in the cave, smaller copper denominations of the time of Anastasiοs I (491-518), Justinian I (527-565), and principally Justin II (565-578). The latest of all are two 20nummi issued in 575/6, which also furnish the terminus post quem for the use of the site.
