A copy of the famous mosaic from the church of San Vitale in Ravenna with Justinian and his retinue. It was placed in the entrance of the exhibition, because Justinian, with his wars on Goths and Vandals, was the last emperor who succeeded in restoring the ecumenical, for the era, character of the Byzantine empire.
