Marble closure slab. A banded frame embellished with a Kufic design and a spiral shoot with upturned half-leaves surrounds the central subject, which consists of two upright lions flanking the Tree of Life, with rosettes in the top corners. The panel stands out for its rich and artful decoration, which is rendered using both high and low relief; is a magnificent example of the decorative sculpture of the 11th–12th c.
